It is the time of year when I feel the most hopeful and hopeless at the same time. A new year is just around the corner and I so want it to be better than this year. In 2011 I don't want to be so lonely, I want to be braver, I want happy surprises and spontaneity in my life. I don't want to be afraid.
It seems that I don't have any resolutions, I only have wishes.

Such a profound pre-new year reflection! I can really relate to this post and I've been wishing for similar things. The blue tones in the photo match your words well. Blue is a meditative, spiritual color to me. Wishing you all the fearlessness and happiness you desire in 2011.

oh sweetie, i think those wishes are just the same as mine. i've never been a fan of the new year, but then again it holds heaps of hope and expectations.
let's just take one step at a time. that'll definitely bring us somewhere.
