I just finished cleaning my room. A complete top to bottom spring cleaning (almost). I am really one of the messiest people you know. I keep everything neatly in lists and on paper, but the space where I live can be like after a storm. It feels good to be in a clean room, and actually being able to place my computer on the table now that it is clear from all the extra stuff (my lovely table that once belonged to my (step)greatgrandfather, it was his woodwork table).
The picture is an oak seedling. Our bigger oak is now officially a mother! Oh, I need a friend who understands my silly enthusiasm about trees, not one who rolls their eyes when I announce "Our oak has a baby!"
Well, I guess I am a little silly, who knows.

Congratulations on getting your room clean! A clean room satisfies like litle else! I cleaned mine the other month and was so happy but now it's going downhill again. Grrr.

I love trees too!!! I like to hug and kiss them (which is an idea I got from the book Walk Two Moons). My family finds my tree-love strange but I'm fine with that.
So, I would definitely join in your happiness at your oak having offspring. :)

I really ought to clean my room. I'm terrible with it. I just hate, hate having a messy room - but I'm too lazy to do anything about it. I love the idea of having furniture that was made by/belonged to family. My chest of drawers belong to my great-great-uncle Charlie who was a sailor.

That is just the loveliest thing. It looks so cute. :) I cleaned my room yesterday, and phew, it feels like I can finally breathe in there again. I like my room neat. x
