My summer holiday has officially begun, I am free to do anything. Although now it is way too hot for enjoying the outdoors (30degreesCelcius). It has probably never been this hot in the beginning of June during my lifetime.
But the faeries dance in the evening light and I am happy of all the flowering plants (and my beans and peas). I should make some plans, what I want to do and see this summer. Nothing much, but a little adventure now and then will keep me awake and alert.
Oh, and all the time that I can finally spend on reading! That reminds me, I wanted to ask recommendations for summer reads. It can be anything, a romance, a fairytale or something more morbid and gloomy.

Oh, and
I hold every beautiful word you give me dear and close to my heart, I don't say this enough. Thank you.

This post reminds me of how much I love summer! I just wish it weren't so hot.
Let's see, I would recommend The Ivy Tree by Mary Stewart which is one I read last summer and really enjoyed. It's romantic suspense, which isn't generally my thing but I love Mary Stewart's books all the same. :)
Have you read the Evolution of Calpurnia Tate? You will the child, I am sure of it.
Ah, the lazy joys of summer. ♥ Here are some books that I haven't read yet but am extremely excited about: Coastliners by Joanne Harris, The House at Riverton by Kate Morton and The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I recently read How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff and it was incredibly good. Hope I've given you one or two ideas. x
We've been having some cold "summer" days in New England. Before that it was hot, like you described.
As for book recommendations, I recommend The Samurai's Garden by Gail Tsukiyama and/or Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami.
I'm planning to reread both of those :)
