Thunder is rumbling in the distance and the birds are singing.
My week has been full of magic and little miracles. I still can't quite believe what has happened. I received a job offer on Wednesday, and now I have a summer job! The best thing about it is that the job is being part of a research group, meaning I am stepping into my first job as a biologist and a researcher. I am terrified and excited at the same time!
I had already lulled myself into the idea of a relaxing holiday, but this summer turned out to become something completely different. I don't mind though. I did wish for something different, a little miracle, and I think I got it.
As for now, it is still the time of Midsummer festivities. Last night we did some magic, collected flowers to hide under our pillows and had a session with tarot cards. It is truly an otherworldly experience to go out in the midnight, smell the forest, hear the birdsongs echoing and experience the nightless night.

Your Midsummer festivities sound absolutely magical. We don't celebrate it at all... which is quite a pity.
